CBI is one of Ireland’s leading office fit out, design & project management companies. Globoforce is a multinational company co-headquartered in Southborough, Massachusetts and Park West, Dublin, providing cloud-based, human capital management software solutions.
CSS Signs worked as part of CBI’s team on the new international HQ for Globoforce, in Park West, Dublin. The company’s new human-centric space spans five floors and 45,000 sq. ft overlooking the Grand Canal. The office features digital walls, floor-to-ceiling glass windows, stairwells with inspirational messages, collaboration spaces, relaxation areas, and a game area.
Our mandate on this project was wide ranging. We began by submitting the planning application for the external name sign, a raised letter backlit sign, formed in aluminium. This was later installed at the eighth-floor level. For the internal graphics there was a very tight deadline to meet the new office launch date – 3 weeks from brand approval to completion. In that time-period, we printed and fitted over 250 sq. m. of full-colour laminated prints, many floor-to-ceiling wall graphics, and frosted vinyls for glass partitions. This came to more than 70 separate pieces of work in total. The reception area and the boardroom were also fitted with backlit name and logo signs. We also installed the necessary health and safety signage, such as fire safety and assembly point signs, internally and externally.
Lastly, we supplied a unique piece for the boardroom area. Described as a “timeline wall”, it was made from 60 individual powder coated timber panels. We applied customised graphics to each panel to create the overall effect of a 3D chart, illustrating the company’s milestones and achievements since they were set up 20 years ago.
