Works

CSS Signs have been supplying signs to more and more primary and secondary schools and colleges all over Ireland. The most frequently ordered safety signs are traffic and parking signs, fire exit and assembly point signs, and more recently CCTV signs, because of the impact of the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We also supply name plate signs for teachers and classrooms which are customised and interchangeable.

Ballinteer Community School, a post-primary inter-denominational mixed school with over 400 students in South Dublin is a good example of the range of work we provide for schools. We customise the signs to suit each specific situation– messages, sizes, materials, fixings.

A significant part of our work for Ballinteer was in redesigning their Fire Emergency Escape Route Plan. We took the architects drawing and redesigned it, removing all unnecessary detail and using bright distinctive colours. This made it more user friendly and easy to read. This was then reproduced for each classroom, office etc, with each one customised with “you are here” stickers.
